Our Art Fund

Born in Mombasa, Kenya, in 1992 and now based in Cape Town, Stanislaw Trzebinski is a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores our connection to the natural world. Drawing on a childhood spent among Indian Ocean rock pools and volcanic landscapes, he creates sculptures and etched metal works that bring organic forms into dialogue with imagined ecologies.

Working with bronze, copper and brass, Trzebinski combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary processes to create intricate surfaces and unexpected forms. His practice is rooted in memory, belonging and a desire to recover the wonder of childhood, inviting us to look more closely at nature and our place within it.
